Reviewer qualifications
Medical reviewers must have credentials and subject-matter experience appropriate to the content. Their name, credentials, specialty, and relevant licensing or registration region should be recorded accurately in the editorial system.
Scope of review
Reviewers evaluate clinical accuracy, balance, timeliness, terminology, safety framing, and whether the cited evidence supports the published statements. Medical review does not create a clinician-patient relationship.
Publication control
Source-led pages may be published with an explicit medical-review-pending label when authorship, authoritative sources, evidence limits, dates, and the educational disclaimer are complete. A page can be marked medically reviewed only when it has a named qualified reviewer, reviewed status, and last-reviewed date.
Review dates
The public page displays the last-reviewed date separately from the original publication and modification dates. Faster-changing topics should be re-evaluated more frequently than stable educational material.
Review status
Content marked pending or update required is not treated as medically reviewed. When a pending source-led page is public, MedoPulse displays that status prominently and does not show a reviewer or reviewed date. Clinically reviewed status remains unavailable until the required reviewer record and review date are complete.
Urgent and personal care
Even reviewed content remains general education. Readers should contact a qualified professional for personal advice and use appropriate local emergency services for urgent symptoms or immediate danger.
